It’s that time of year again…the air is getting cooler, the leaves are changing colors and that means it’s time for all the wonderful fall festivals! All of us at StorPlace Self Storage in Murfreesboro and Nashville love attending the many local festivals. You’ll find us hard at work from 9-5:30 helping those in need of storage units. But when the day is done we’re headed for fun. You can check us out at StorPlace if you need storage or boxes but if it is Fall Fun you're looking for maybe we'll see you at one of these Festivals.

Musicians Corner

Every Friday and Saturday in September there will be free musical performances from 5:00-9:00pm on Friday nights and 12:00-6:00pm on Saturday at Centennial Park in Nashville. This year’s line-up includes Steve Moakler, Jason Eskridge, The Narrative, North Mississippi Allstars, Colin Hay as well as many more great acts. Also, starting at 12:00pm there will be pre-show activities, food and beverage trucks and local artisan vendors.

Greenway Art Festival

September 16

This event will be located on the Murfreesboro Greenway trail under the trees at Old Fort Park Trailhead from 10:00am – 4:00pm. There will be many different booths displaying original artwork for purchase (ie. oils, acrylics, watercolors, pottery, sculpture, jewelry). There will also be performances by local musicians, multiple food vendors, and children’s arts and crafts activities. The Greenway Art Festival is a top pick when visiting Murfreesboro.

Fall Tennessee Craft Fair

September 22-24

This craft fair will be held on the lawn of the Parthenon in Nashville on Friday and Saturday from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am – 5:00pm. The fair will include a variety of high quality crafts, food vendors, children’s activities and demonstrations from the artisans. While shopping, you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists, learn what inspires them and learn how to transform raw materials into crafts.

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival

September 23-24

The Pilgrimage festival, held at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, offers a diverse lineup of rock and roll, alt-country, bluegrass, jazz, indie, and gospel artists. These performances will include some partly acoustic sets as well as some collaborations. Some of the headliners this year include Marty Stuart, Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, Mavis Staples, Angaleena Presley, Jonathan Singleton and many more. The Little Pilgrims Stage will feature a line-up of talented young musicians. There will also be two locations for food and beverages; the Kitchen and Sippin’ stages and the Bazaar. The gates open at 10:00am with music starting at 10:30am each day.

Fall Fest at The Hermitage - Tennessee Craft Week

September 30 – October 1

This festival, held at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, will include a variety of live music acts, handmade arts from regional artists, as well as local specialty foods and spirits. Admission is free this year! The hours of operation are Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm.

Nashville Oktoberfest - Tennessee Craft Week

October 5-8

The Oktoberfest in Nashville’s oldest running festival and is held in the historic area of Germantown Nashville. The three day event features delicious food from Nashville’s best restaurants, craft beer from local brewers, music stages throughout the festival, arts and craft vendors, a 5K race, pet parade and more! This year’s festival hours are Thursday Oct. 5 from 5:00pm-10pm, Friday Oct. 6th from 10:00am-10:00pm, Saturday Oct. 7th from 10:00am-10:00pm and Sunday Oct. 8th from 10:00am-8:00pm.

Webb School Art & Craft Fair 39th Annual Webb School Art and Craft Show

October 21-22

This event, held in downtown Bell Buckle, will feature arts, crafts, and Artist demonstrations. There will also be over 500 other booths throughout town.

41st Annual Harvest Days

October 28

This event will be held in the Cannonsburgh Village of Murfreesboro. Some of the activities at this event include: old time demonstrations, storytelling, hayrides, cloggers and dancing, bluegrass music, antique auto show, blacksmith demonstration, craft fair and food vendors. The admission is free and the event will be held from 10:00am-4:00pm.

30th Annual Pumpkinfest

October 28

Located in Historic Downtown Franklin, this free festival will be held from 10:00am – 6:00pm. The festival will include three stages of live music, children’s activities, a costume contest (for children and pets), more than 100 arts and crafts booths and much more.

Dickson County Smoke Fest

November 3-4th

The second annual Dickson County Smoke Fest will include cooking competitions for both backyard and professional teams, entertainment and activities for all ages. This event is free for everyone to attend.
